About the Job
In support of US Sailing’s mission to grow and strengthen the sport of sailing, the Administrative Assistant will be responsible for maintaining member information in the database and preparing and distributing materials and program supplies to individuals and organizations. This is a critical interface between US Sailing and its customers and members.

This role requires a detail oriented customer service professional to fulfill post course and membership transaction requirements, working across all US Sailing Departments and programs. A successful assistant will work well independently and as part of a team. They will possess excellent organization and problem solving skills to ensure a first class experience for members. The position is a crucial support member of the organization and duties will include:

· Maintain log of check receipts.
· Maintain general office supplies and office directory.
· Provide back-up for merchandise sales as needed.
· Process memberships, certifications and orders in the database.
· Document sail numbers and course completions.
· Process post course records, test entries and survey results.
· Assemble course material packages, handle shipping and course registrations.
· Fulfill promotions for targeted membership offers to existing and potential members.
· Ensure member data is kept up to date.

Qualifications include:

· High School Diploma is required.
· 1+ years experience working with a database.
· Ability to multitask and work around obstacles, with a focus on delivering the best service to members
· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.
· Knowledge of sailing a plus.
